Adulting is a word, by the way. Or at least it should be. The Urban Dictionary defines adulting as "to do grown up things and hold responsibilities." If it's good enough for the Urban Dictionary, it's good enough for me. I have two kids, 13 and 15. Yes, that's right. I have two teenagers. Explains a lot, doesn't it? Anyway, they're always telling me they can't wait to be adults. Every parent reading this is laughing. Probably every adult. "No one tells you when to go to bed,"
This my Sheltie, Molly. MY Sheltie mind you. This is a picture of her from just a few minutes ago. Ruff life, isn't it? What you don't get is that she is sacked out in my husband's office. Not mine. My husband doesn't even really like dogs. Apparently no one has told Molly this.
So, book 2, Taking Chances, is out! Yay me! It's so thrilling to know that something I created is out there. In the world. And at least 100 people have read it. Thus the title of this blog post. So much for being an instant success. When I started down this path, I honestly thought writing the book was the hard part. Right? All I have to do is write the book, and the rest will take care of itself. Boy, was I naïve. As it turns out, writing the book is the easy part... Editing
