Stop the marketing madness...

Every year about now, but really a few weeks earlier, I start to lose my sh%$ when I go into a store. Halloween and Christmas should NEVER be advertised next to each other! And what ever happened to Thanksgiving?

When the temps are still in the 80s here in NC, I do not want to even think about Christmas. When I go to Lowes to look at Halloween inflatables for my yard, I certainly do not want to also see a huge blow-up Grinch or Christmas tree. Really? Enough already...

Halloween is fun. Christmas is my favorite. Thanksgiving is all but forgotten. Why can't we celebrate each on its own? Surely, I can't be the only one who feels this way...

At the end of the day, it's all about the marketing. These are the people who start talking about boots when I'm still happily ensconced in my flip flops. I get that you have a job to do, but I would be much happier to buy whatever it is you're selling if you did it at the right time of the year.

That is all.
